Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Tao Bakes Cakes , we take pride in creating joyful experiences for every customer. While all purchases are considered final, we recognize that unexpected issues can occasionally happen. Here’s how we handle them with care:


1. Refunds

  • Products Not in Good Condition

If your order arrives in less than ideal condition (for example, melted, damaged, or defective), please contact us within 2 hours of receiving it. Kindly attach clear photos or a short video showing the issue, and send them to taobakescakes@gmail.com or Whatsapp us at +6012-3157890 for our review.

  • Incorrect Items Received

Should you receive the wrong items, notify us within 1 hours along with photos of what you received and your order number / name of person ordered. To qualify for a replacement or refund, the items must remain unconsumed and in the same condition they arrived..


2. Cancellations

  • Advance Notice

Orders can only be canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time.

  • When Cancellations Aren’t Possible

We’re unable to cancel orders that are already being processed or prepared (e.g., cakes already in production or delivery arranged), or those scheduled for same-day collection/delivery.


3. Refund Method

Once a refund or cancellation request is approved, it will take 5-10 working days for the amount to be credited back to your bank account or credit card.

Please review all order details carefully before confirming your purchase.


4. Order Changed or Cancellations

To make any changes or cancel your order, please contact us at +6012-3157890. Changes and cancellation need to be at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time.


5. Exceptions

  • Delivery Delays

Unfortunately, refunds are not available for delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, traffic, third-party delivery issues).

  • Out-of-Stocks Items

If an item becomes unavailable after your order is confirmed, we’ll notify you immediately. You may then choose to receive a full refund via to your original payment method.


Resolving Issues

After carefully reviewing your case and supporting details, we’ll decide on the most suitable solution — which may include a full or partial refund, store credit, or a replacement — at our discretion.
